The flue is 150mm (6") diameter stainless steel. It is 1.29m (4'4") high, surrounded
by a perforated aluminium safety guard.
The rain guard cowl is also stainless steel, has an ash screen for safety when burning firewood, and yes, you can make
coffee or cook on it (stove top expresso coffee maker is not provided).
The flue just wriggles into its housing in the top of the burner: it takes only a few seconds to fit. There is a stainless
steel plate damper at the base of the flue to help control the burner output.
The two transparent hoses connecting the burner to the tub are 50mm (2”) diameter transparent polyurethane with reinforcing
PVC spirals. They are extremely tough (slightly thicker version is used to pump concrete). They take only a minute or so
to connect up, with screw and Kamlock lever fittings.
